| Beijing Olympics - Opening Ceremony Looks like a pretty spectacular start to the Olympics. A little bit hazy, but a very good start. Now, if the English commentators would just shutup and let us hear what was going on IN the stadium and not in their minds.

| After living several years in China, I've become quite China skeptical, but that opening ceremony was probably the best live show I've ever seen. Artistically and technically, mind blowing ! Damn. The helicopter scene ... the scroll ... the changing colors combined with the dove ... the earth with the singer on top ... 10 out of 10! |

| For those who missed the flying olympics rings ... watch from around 6:50 ... one of the best parts of the ceremony, along with the footprint fireworks and the human calligraphy.

| FilipH - I fully agree - 10 out of 10 .. absolutely spectacular, very aesthetic and artistic and simply put - MIND BLOWING special effects which just seemed to blend in so well with everything.

| believe me, i can, I can't find it anywhere! I cannot seem to get Pearl - I did try, but the tv could not find a single channel when I searched. |
