Hi I just arrived in HK this week to take up a role for a Law firm based in Central. Im a 32 year old English chap, and would like to get to know some friends to socialise with and play tennis/golf/squash with. Any tips on how to best meet people and good places to hang out will be gratefully received. Be great to hear from anyone who is interested in being my friend!! All the best

To the OP - sounds like you're quite sporty. Join a sports club would strike me as the most obvious way to meet people? Even if it's a sport you've not played before - most standards are catered for in Hong Kong at a wide range of sports. Socialising is easy enough through this site - there's normally at least one meet up per week.

Sorry mate, I left a message to a wrong thread. But by the way I’m 23. I’m also an English. And up for drink any time you want. Jesse
