Latest Wireless Router Model

Hey I've been reading up the threads here on the wireless routers you can use on your netvigator box to get multiple computers online.

I'm getting everything installed Saturday and wondered what's the latest model wireless router that will do the job nicely so I can have it in place?

Cheers
Colin

There are many many routers available. The problem with the very latest ones is that the latest standards are not yet fully standard (so you may have compatibility problems). I'd still go with an 802.11G router from Linksys (Cisco) or Buffalo or similar. If everything is within one room then a compact model will do. If you need to go through a wall then go for one with external antennas

I'm not sure if Fortress do them - I've always gone to Wanchai Computer Centre or Windsor House for computing gear.

Don't get a travel one, even if they are nice and compact. They don't have the range the full-sized ones have, and you need power with these concrete walls we have in HK.

Oops, just realized PDLM posted something to the same effect above.
