Way to miss the point.

I hope the Hong Kong team isn't as immature as YipPY, although not McEnroe, she was easily losing her temper losing to Great Britain in badminton.

I would comment about the TVB presenters, but they only have like four for the entire channel so having the same presenters as Miss Hong Kong 2008 shouldn't expect much.

Where any channels showing the Olympics this morning? TVB had children's cartoons on, the fencing final was awesome and it would be nice to catch the earlier rounds of any sports.

10pm they said. The thing that really pisses me off about their commentary is the complete lack of information - for example when showing the heats it would be nice to know how many go throughfrom each heat. All they do is talk about what they can see on the tv and add nothing to it. Unbelievably crap.

Turn on the internet, or go back to where you came from for two weeks if the precious commentary is so important. Be happy it's even on tv here.

Or why not start your own internet live webcast commentary? I'm sure everyone would listen.

FYI - NBC, CBC, and BBC streams all work here if you know what you're doing.

Shit you're touchy! The commentators friends of yours? "Be happy it's even on tv here" - well we are in the host country. OK the commentary is wonderful, best in the world. Am I allowed to stay now?

France TV broadcast

By chance, is there any savvy French guy who knows how to access France TV olympic streaming from HK?
[url=http://sport.francetv.fr/jeux-olympiques-2008/]
It's a dream, we can watch any event live, they have cameras everywhere, but it's restricted to national territory (like NBC, BBC ...).
Comments on Pearl channels are so depressing that I prefer listening to the radio online.
FYI French speakers, www.rmc.fr, 16h live per day, a real pleasure.
Wish sb has the magic solution for France TV.
Don't tell me I should come back home to watch Olympics organized here ...

Forgive my ignorance, I know in theory what a proxy server is, but I have NO idea how to access one... anyone got instructions?

Thanks - will try that when I get home. On holiday in kota kinabalu right now ... with the benefit of staying in a hotel which does subscribe to something showing the olympics so I got to see some of the repeats of the opening ceremony last night ... albeit with commentary in Malay! It did look good. I'd have loved to have seen more of that "scroll".
