| Helper Advice We are about to have a helper start and this is the first time I have ever had anyone in our home to help. I would be very glad of some advice. Are there any books you can read ? Any suggestions ? Rules.....regulations....routines. Seriously any adivce would be greatly appreciated. Everyone tells me that I am going to love it.....but I'm just not sure about having someone in my space. thanks |

| Is your helper a live-in or a live-out? Either way having clear communication is imperative. A previous pt helper of mine preferred to have a list of items / tasks that she would do in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, etc. We also had a notebook for writing down notes to each other - even if we saw eachother it was put in the notebook so neither party would forget and things were documented. This was good actually because I knew what to expect from her and she knew what was expected from me. Communication was clear and concise with expectations from all parties manageable. **I have moved and am now too far for her to commute that is why 'previous'** |

| A number of our members buy this book from our online shop ( Helper's Helper | 9628674013 | Expert Advice | Home and Garden | Bookstore | Hong Kong Online Shopping ). Works well to get the helper organize themselves.
