| I am a F.5 graduate. I have received my cert. on the 4th August and have been looking for schools for me to further my studies to secondary 6. I have been taking the Arts Stream and have obtained 16 points with 8 subjects in the HKCEE. I have enrolled at my own respective school but have been put in their waiting list for I have failed Economics and Geography, which is required ![]() Therefore, to be on the safer side, I have applied to another school. However, in that school, Chinese Language is a compulsory subject but I have not taken it as my subject for HKCEE as I have taken French. I would like to know If i can drop the Chinese Language, and perhaps take French subject as a private candidate if 2nd language is compulsory. What do you recommend, guys? Please be of help as I am currently down. For now... I need to keep waiting for the schools' response.. |

| Hmmm...you dont have to stress about it too much. Just check out the EMB board for International schools. There are loads. Believe me. If you think that you didnt do well, and wish to improve, i think you should attend IVE. Or you can just go apply for Delia Schools. Theyre pretty good. I suggest Delia school of canada. Thats the best of em all. It doesnt follow the HK teaching system, it follows a canada based teaching system which is easier :P. Im afraid the cost is a bit pricey but its well worth it if you want a bright future ahead :] Anyways, good luck on getting into a good school. I hope this helped~ |
