| Am I allowed to stay/ where am I taxable? Hi there, I am planning to leave my current job, which sponsors my working visa. My new employer will be a German consulting company and I will work on projects mainly in the Arabia, but it would be on a 3weeks there, 1 week off schedule and I would like to leave my home in HKG. I am a German national. Here are my questions: 1. Would I be allowed to enter HKG every 3 weeks over the next say two years or would I run into trouble with immigration? 2. Where would I be taxable? My home would be HKG, but most of the time I'd be in Arabia and in Germany only very occasionally. My preference, of course, would be to pay tax in HKG, as they are by far the lowest. Anyone has any experience with this? Thanks for your input |

| 1. I suspect immigration should be ok if you are only coming for a week every three weeks, but don't quote me on that. 2. You will enter Hong Kong as a tourist why would you pay tax here? You will owe tax in Arabia where your work permit should be. |
