Running -Happy Valley-

Hi All,

I wonder anyone run in Happy Valley? I saw there has alot of group wanted to join some and have fun together. of course wanted to be improve my running skill

ya know, I find it very hard to run in HK... I used to run about 12K/day, 5 days a week, I can't last 5 minutes in this humidity. Plus you got the pollution that's simply bad for your health.

Just my opinion, but hey, if you guys do get a group together, I'd be interested in a group run

I often run at the track and there are a few groups there. Saturday around 5pm and Thursday around 7pm for sure. In the summer, it's nicer to run on Bowen Rd. It's hot but you get used to it and I kind of enjoy a good sweat now.

Personally, I prefer running alone, it's a good time to think but interval work is good to do in groups since it encourages you to push harder.

I completely agreed. This is my favorite running spot in HK, nice view, long enough, and lot of trees/plants which equal to more shades and oxygen

Yes the shade is a big one and you can branch out to the trails to get some excellent hillwork... Wanchai Gap and Black's link is a lung burner...
