Hi,

I met some guy recently who told me that he has a ticket for the Olympics event in Sha Tin. Though he's bought the ticket for like 100$, he's quoting 500$ for it. I am not averse to paying that amount, but what I really want to know is whether I can really use someone else's ticket to gain entry there. I don't want to spend money, get up at an ungodly hour and go and stand in teh queue for hours just to be sent back home at the entrance. Kindly advise.

The tickets do not have anyones name on them. Technically you are not allowed to resell the tickets, but the ticket checker has no way of knowing.
