Arrow Gold Coast to Central

Can someone give me an idea as to what is the kind of time I would be looking at if I were to commute everyday between Gold Coast to Central?

The site says 30-35 mins, and a friend of mine told me 40-45 mins which is fine. But does it take that much time or does it take an Hour + to reach ..

Would appreciate any views on this.

Cheers !!

45 minutes minimum -- and on a restricted schedule. Not like you can hop on an MTR or on a short taxi ride into town.

But doable - when you look at commuting from any of the places - except on HK island itself?

I mean is it a feasible and sensible thing to do on an everyday basis? Currently it takes me upto an hour for the commute to work daily.

Not really -- Its fairly easy to get around even from TST / New Territories if you're on the MTR line.

Commuting from the Gold Coast to Central is very doable. You will not take more than 1 hour, regardless of mode of transport. If you are not driving, you can take the Gold Coast shuttle (only operates at restricted times and not very regular, but very quick) or the public Citybus (around 45 - 50 minutes to Central). They (the bus) are very frequent, particularly during peak times.

Taxi rides from Hong Kong Island on nights when you're out late.

Yeah I read somewhere on the posts itself
You are supposed to pay double for the tunnels and things like that right? Or does one have to generally pay a lot more?

The 962 bus is 24/7 although the fare is higher after midnight. If taking a taxi, it's best if you have a couple of regular taxi guys you can call and who give you a discount or a fixed rate. I've never got a taxi at that time of night so don't know what they'll agree on, but a taxi from WanChai to the Gold Coast during the day costs $160.
