Hi,

I am looking for dog parks in Hong Kong Island to bring my doggie to.

I would like to ask where the locations are at, how to get to them, what each park offers, etc? Like if the park is gated, has grass area, offers plenty of running space, has an off leash area, big dogs and small dogs area, etc.

Also, what people's opinions are of their preferred dog parks and why they prefer them.

There is one official dog park in Wan Chai, on the waterfront, near the SPCA. It has grass, off leash is permitted, but although fenced, it is not gated at the enterances and have heard reports of the occasional dog running into the adjoining busy street.

Other than that, your best bet is any of the Country Parks, where dogs are permitted off leash. However, there are no fences/ enclosed areas for dogs in the Country Parks. Dogs are not permitted in most city parks on HK island.
