I register on 3 website for an iPhone 2 days ago.
How long does it take to get an iPhone after that ?

I'm currently on Smartone. When I will transfer my phone number from Smartone to 3 will I have to cancel my Smartone line or 3 will take care of that for me ?

I put my name on waiting list back in June. They call me up today saying both 8 & 16GB will be available for me to pick up the next day at any of their outlets. I was very tempted, however, decided against it given 3's below-par customer service track records.

There shouldn't be a waiting list though, I just rolled up to the three concession in Fortress and they have plenty there.

I don't use credit cards thus was unable to get one because they insist on the monthly bill being paid by credit card only. Strange.

I have a Smartone number too - not on plan, just refills... can I switch my phone number to another provider's plan like one2free?

Hi all,

Yes you can transfer the number to another provider for free.

To transfer, you will sign a form with the new provider to authorise transfer of the number and they will then contact the old provider and as long as you are not on a long term plan with the old provider, they will let your number go for free. It took three days for me for the process to complete.

Is the waitlist still going on?

My husband join the list in June and he got a called said that his is ready to be pick up so i went with him and simply just ask the customer service guy for another iphone for myself. so we got 2, but he said the white one are sold out. I have a look in wan chai there's so many white one available this old chinese man bought the white one and i have a look at it ~ personally didn't like it very much think its a bit gay really , however i did saw a 14 year old girl with one and that's look quite cute for lil girl
