| | I have good experience with the Viewcon Apple Center on Nathan Road between Mongkok and Yau Mai Tei MTR stations. Friendly staff and I could even get some dollars off when I paid in cash http://www.appleclub.com.hk/buy/appl...c_viewcon.html | |

| | | A new store just opened in IFC that deals with Macs. Not sure of the name but it is next door to Dymocks on the second floor.
There are two on Stanley road in Central, right next to one another, and one a block away near LKF (second floor of this building, look for the apple sign hanging outside).
Then of course there is the Wan Chai computer mart with a couple mac dealers.
You shouldn't have any problems with accessories.
NOTE: Some Macs sold in the USA are not 110-220 but just 110 volt (despite those being sold overseas being able to use both). The Imac G5 for example--if you buy it in the states, it is ONLY 110 volt, but if you buy it overseas (in HK for example) it is 110-220.
Please check before you plug in | |

| | | tex, Apple keeps a pretty tight control on pricing. Any discounts you get would be up to the dealer to cut their margin. ( Apple reseller agreements even prevent dealers from excessive discounts even if they come out of their margin ) | |

| | | One thing you should consider is that while finding relatively modern apple parts is not a problem, you will have some difficult obtaining older items. For example, I have a G3 Pismo laptop and trying to find a battery here is quite difficult (unless, of course, it is used). It's tricky in the states too, but there are some speciality stores I can turn to when I need something like that. | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8.
