| Training as a teacher in HK Hi, My sister's friend would like to get in to teaching. He has a BA (Hons) and diplomas in English and ICT. He has a lot of experience working in schools as a teaching assistant and has been involved in some depth with the running of schools (was a school governor for example). The final piece of the puzzle is getting qualified to teach. For some reason he's been unable to find a slot locally (he's based in the UK) and so is now looking further afield. What are the options in HK? Is it easy to gain the PGDE / get on a training course? Are there alternatives? Is anyone currently looking for a NET in training? Thoughts? Suggestions? |
