Just wondering I am with fitness first (passport)and I am moving to hong kong (will be living causeway bay pretty sure, working in garden road central) are there ample fitness firsts in these areas? (Is it worth keeping for me?)

If I worked on Garden Road I would be looking at Season's Fitness.

Walking at lunchtime from Garden Road to the FF in Sheung Wan will not only take longer than 10 minutes but it will frustrate the hell out of you with slow walkers, sidewinders, umbrellas and dodging muppets.

Thankyou

Thankyou for your advice, I will definetley check these options out, platinum might be an idea, Is the causeway bay one crowded much on the weekends?

I might upgrade or if not feasible all-together offload locally.

Thanks guys

This website rocks

Platinum

Does anyone know approximate platinum rates here (causeway bay)?

Will they give me a similar rate to that in australia (i have a good rate) or will they just do as they please and charge me whatever they like?

Anyone know....?

Not sure but they were pretty flexible when I joined- hang out for further discounts with the 'let me think about it and come back this evening*'.

*Or 'tomorrow morning' depending on when you are there as the same guy may not be there on that shift and potentially lose his commission.

I didn't find them hard selling to be fair and I walked out with a rate I was happy with though I know a couple of other people who are paying 30 dollars less per month on the same contract!

blueagles will become famous soon enough
If I am not mistaken, your passport account will only allow you 30 visits internationally on a given year. You might want to check with your local Fitness First.
