Does anyone know where the kitty hawk is docked and the best place to view?

The USS Kitty Hawk should be berthed in the western approaches [the harbour east of Discovery Bay]. From HK you you should be able to see it from the Kennedy Town end of Victoria Road. or you could leg it on a helicopter

If you stand outside the girlie bars on Lockhart Road at 2pm you can see the crew.
You can se the kittyhawk when you cross the bridge by car on your way to the airport, but i don't recommend stopping for photos if there's much traffic!

The Kitty Hawk, and a cruiser I think, are docked near the Tsing Ma suspension bridge. I'm in Kennedy Town and can see it off in the distance, though if you took the Discovery Bay ferry I think you could get a much better view. It's been so foggy lately and today was the first clear day.

Not sure what other ferry goes near there. When the USS McCain was here last week they had a banner hanging over the side with Chinese characters, which I suspect said "Keep Away".
