book lovers/lovers of free books?

I'm looking for a few people to do book reviews for me. In return I will keep you in a steady supply of great, free books. Only interested in hearing from people who are avid readers. You know who you are, you can't go past a bookshop (no matter how bad) without going inside. Lovers of all genre considered as well as all nationalities. You need to be able to write well - not literary review well but concisely and with personality. Reviews are only a few paragraphs long. Pls pm if interested or if you know someone who might fit the bill.

Thanks.

Sounds good to me! I'd be happy to do it. Especially if you throw in one of the weighted bookmarks I'm looking for.

Thanks for your replies guys. To make it easier, because I know people love the sound of free books I'll give you a bit more to think about. If you joing our 'review team' you are expected to review a book a month. If you can't do this it won't work out.

We have limited spots available so best thing to do if you are really interested is PM a list of your favourite 5 or so books and perhaps what you are reading now or what you've read recently and loved. I would also look very favourably on anyone who actually sends me a short review of a book, circa 12 lines. We won't use any reviews without your permission.

We're looking to find reviewers for specific types of books so pls don't be offended if I tell you that you're not what we are looking for. Chances are I'm telling the truth!

If you get chosen you will be given loads of free books to read on the proviso that you actually review one book a month.

If you feel like sending me a review make it fun. We should get a sense of who you are and why you liked the book not just what the book is about.

Thanks.

Sounds good. I do a fair number of reviews for companies around the world (but not on books). Can't get into too much detail, but I do get handed some fairly high-level assignments.

I'll write a review on Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles once I get through it. I'm a bit of a philosophy/literature buff. Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but that's pretty much the kind of stuff I read now. If it's not literature or philosophy, it's books on martial arts.

I got bitchslapped for owning up to reading a couple of books which came out in 2004 so I wonder what delights aussiegal has in store for your 120 year old tome?
