Has anyone traveled from Bangkok to Koh Samet? If so....please let me know what is easiest transporation method to get there. Also, what is the total travel time?

Is it feasible to get to Koh Samet for 1 night out of my 3 nights in Bangkok. Was thinking of leaving bangkok early saturday and heading to Koh Samet, then coming back to Bangkok sunday to fly back to HK. Possible or no?

bangkok to pattaya is 2 1/2 by car from there is another 1 hour by car. best is to book a car from bangkok, possibly from your hotel and drive straight there, u should get to the coast by 3 hours then hire a boat to take u over.
