IT job salary

Hello all,

I am searching jobs in HK now, but I don't know HK Market.

I am a experienced (6years) Database analyst.
1. Do you think is it easy to find a job?
2. Which website can I access for searching jobs in HK?
3. Please suggest a reasonable salary range.

Thanks

My experience with Jobs DB has been pretty bad when it comes to hiring people.

Way too much noise to wade through (had waitresses hitting the submit button on their resumes and applying for C++ programming jobs).

Avoid them and find a good recuitment agency if you have 5+ years experience.

Needless to say, you should have the right permissions and qualifications to work in HK.

For my understanding, I should find a job first.
Then the employer will apply "HK Entry Permit" for me. Then I can apply Employment visa in China. ( I am Chinese)

Is it correct? Thanks

I think he meant that most of the companies posting ads there will prefer people who are already eligible to work in HK without the need to mess with the working visa process.

Did you invite them for an interview?

And waste my time?

We'd wade through about 200 resumes and find perhaps 1 candidate out of that.

Don't get me wrong, JobsDB is good for entry level jobs.
