There is also a similar spa almost opposite CITY SQUARE (close to the Mixc Shopping mall) Forget the name though) where they have sleep areas. All very clean and lower then your budget.

| | | Thank you very much. I will have mu daughter 1.5 years old with me. so I am concerned that I dont go anywhere which is not comfortable or clean. Can increase the bduget to 400 hk$ . does that add anything else to the options? | |

| | | Well, if you bring such a young daughter with you then the spa won't be a good idea i think. Although Queen spa is very respectable, you never know about the customers that are coming there ...
Then you might want to check out the Holiday Inn summer promotion at 396rmb all in. see attachement. Promotion was in Shenzhen Daily yesterday. Scanned it in for you.

| | | Great
i just checked the forecast and it says that 90% chanes of rain both on sturday and sunday
it would be difficult for us to go later but i was wondering about how bad it is in rain ? I am sure Louhu commercial city will be mostly covered. But how about donmen area and other shopping areas? In HK as long as its not raining cats & dogs, I can still manage to go out with my baby. Can someone please share their experience or knwoeledge regardign shenzhen
thanks! | |

| | | OK i just got back from Lowu this morning and it was absolutely pouring with a lot of traffic problems ,footpath flooding etc
i know SZ quite well and i wouldn't go wandering around Dongmun in this weather especially with a baby-its just not going to be pleasant at all.
Lo Wu commercial centre is a completely different matter as it is all undercover and connected to the border entrance so you never really go "outside"
btw imho as a gwailo now the Yuan has shot up in value, visa fees so expensive ,transport not cheap and factoring in the crap quality you get at Lowu and the hassle from the touts i really dont see the value in going to shenzen for that type of shopping anymore-and i speak /read chinese so things are slightly less hassle for me-i can't even imagine lugging a baby there.
Shenzen is still a great place for good food though and entertainment /spas etc but you would need someone with very local knowledge to get you to these places-anything in the Lowu station area is now in some cases more expensive than HK.
Sorry to put a dampener(couldnt resist that) on your day out but its better you go with a realistic expectation and look on it more of an experience
hope this helps | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8. The time now is 07:11 AM.
