see, now this one is making a liar out of me...the edit box is there next to the quote box but in another thread i responded to this morning, the edit box isn't there and i can't change my post? is there a time limit?

You should be able to if its within the time set up on the system, I think its something like up to 30 minutes after the post has been made.
