Hiya! One of the lesser known secrets of TST is that the Y gym is actually pretty good. Might not have the trendy cache of the gyms in Central but it's nothing to sniff at. Nice range of aerobics machines, weight machines plus free weights of pretty high poundage for the serious BB.

5 things I like about it:

1. No monthly fees, very reasonable rates, no hidden fees or fancy "Platinum" memberships.

2. Very clean.

3. U do not have to join the Y itself. You can just join the Fitness Centre upstairs on the 1/F.

4. No crowds at any time. No queing up to use the weights etc. Rumour is the hipsters fled to California on Nathan Road across from the Sheraton.

5. Nice opening hours 6:30am to 10:30pm - but you can stay in the shower area till 11pm to clean up and get dressed.

i just called them , $1800 for 3 months, if u sign up for 6 months u only get 1 month free.


unless im getting incorrect infos, this dosen't sound like a good deal to me.
