i've had a c. 90% hit rate with my DBS Amex, so not too bad.

FYI the new CX - Amex seems to come with free Priority Pass membership, which is a great benefit. I.e. just get the card for the PP membership.

Well yes, but only if you travel a lot in ways where you don't have access to an airline lounge (and do it on your own since otherwise you'll be paying quite a lot per visit for whoever you are with - supplementary card holders don't get the benefit).

Wasn't aware of other CC co's offering this benefit to a free credit card. I know standard chartered offer this, but as far as I'm aware, to their Visa Infinite members.

So which card would you guys recommend that gives you free entry to pp for main card holder and supplementary card holder?
Been using City bank but not sure now they no longer do Asia mile points.

Didn't realise that Amex /CX new card wouldn't provide free entry to supplementary card holder.

Thought it was for platinum and above. Infinite shit is way above my pay grade...

(Checked - and it seems they've changed the requirements for PP. Last time I tried to use it in Taiwan was a couple of years ago and got the royal run around. Will have to check if they've grandfathered the older platinum cards into free PP)

Just got a platinum with SCB (for some reason they gave it to me along with the SCB Amex although I didn't ask for it) and no free PP membership.

Eh? The Citi Premier Miles card that replaced the CitiCX card has exactly the same AsiaMiles earning capability as the old card.

And the CitiCX card gave access to the Premier Plaza lounge at HK airport (as does the new Citi Premier Miles card) for both primary and supplementary card holders.

We need to be careful to differentiate between Premier Plaza at HK airport (many cards) and Priority Pass (globally) which is only available on a few cards and was never available on the CitiCX cards that I remember.
