can anyone recommend a specialist in US tax? i don't mean a big accounting firm, i'm talking about people who specialise in financial planning specifically for US citizens. thanks.

Heard (and know) good things about them. The person I've corresponded with at US asia tax is Jill Elsner (look on the staff list on their site)

Also, drop Kevin@Ernestmaude.com a line -- they do (reluctantly at times due to the US related headaches) a fair amount of financial planning for US citz.
