Where to live around Shatin area??

I'm looking to buy/rent a place. I have a large dog and I realize it's not easy finding places I'd like to live in that can also allow pets in the building. I need somewhere that's close to Shatin (close to fiance's parents) but preferably not one of those 'village homes'.. Any ideas? THX!!
