Thai tourist Visa for Indian

Hi All,

I am planning to go to Thailand for a week, wondering what documents etc I'd need to obtain a tourist visa? Also, could I get visa on arrival there?
I hold an Indian passport.
Thank you in advance.

India is not on the list of visa exampt countries. But it is on the list of countries that can get a visa on arrival. You need a passport with at least six-month validity and must present full paid ticket which is usable within 15 days from your date of entry. Plus a recent photograph (4 x 6 cm) and an application fee of 1000 baht.

It is visa on arrival. All they might ask you is whether you have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay there, around 10,000 THB. The visa should cost around 1,000 THB.

Check that out for information.

GnR - no problems getting a visa on arrival. Make sure you have a couple of photos and thai baht on you as they don't take foreign currency.
