Getting a job in Hong Kong I was born in China but lived in the U.S for the majority of my life, i can speak cantonese but cannot read or write Chinese ( minimal words ). I like to live in Hong Kong for a while because i have family and relatives there. My background is in business/sales. Is it possible for me to still get a job in Hong Kong?

I think BrianL was suggesting the difficulty is getting an employer to sponsor your work visa if you need one.

Yes it is always possible to get a job knowing only English. But don't forget, where you lack in skills, you must make up in other skills to offset it. Still regardless of anything, because you do not have a HKID card, you will need to be sponsored to be able to work in HK. If your skills are above average, you can apply for some international companies that only speak English but again, most would be hiring English/Cantonese or English/Mandarin employees.
