haha. The only place I close off is the bedroom. Whenever we leave it open she jumps up on the bed and pisses. I think it's her way of getting revenge.

we have a dog and we let him roam around our little flat all day but he doesn't chew things, he doesn't even eat food we leave him because he's sleeping the whole time. we just leave a little mat down in the corner of the guest bedroom where he can wee if he needs to. it's like a flat diaper and works fine, doesn't smell, etc.

then when we get home we take him out or if its raining we just play with him and make him run around the living room for half an hour.

Tcoleman seems ur dog just like mine, he sleeps wholeday, while i go to work, no maid too, no dog walker, he never chew, such a good boy, sometimes he didn't even do his biz during the day unless it's urgent, n he's fully trained to go in newspaper inside my toilet. n if he really have to go while no one at home, he would try to cover up the dirty newspaper with a clean one.. or wrapped it and stuffed it at the corner.. don't ask me how he do it.. hahaha..

I have a dog (chihuahua cross) and as much as I would like to bring her over, she lives enjoys a better quality of life living at my mums with a backyard, and my little brother around outside of school hours (alot).

I will be working 11 hours minumum per day and I think if you can avoid bringing an animal into that type of living arrangement, good.

Someone said they do sleep all day, which is a point too, but my dog has the option of going outside and enjoying the sunshine, which I would prefer for her if I can!

I guess I have a different situation than those relocating their whole families and homes to hk....
