We've got together a group for a regular weekend casual football kickabout from the quiet corner of Geoexpat's sports forum.

Now we've got together a few players and some decent pitch bookings, we're still after more players and thought we'd ask some people outside of the sports forum... the sports forum's usually where sporty people go, and most of us aren't very sporty at all, so it makes sense to look elsewhere too.

We're playing this Sunday at 1pm in Tung Chung, and try to play regularly each Sunday. It's a 7-aside pitch, and we could easily do with another 4-6 players (possibly more this weekend as a few guys are away) as we'll be playing between ourselves this weekend rather than versus a local team. We have about 10 people turn up on average each week, but could easily host 14-18 people on a full 7-aside pitch.

On average it's 20-25, a few people outside that though. As long as you've got your own hip joints you should be ok. Lately it's been insidiously hot and humid so we've given up on sprinting about the pitch for the time being.

Next confirmed match is 3pm Sunday June 29th in Tung Chung, then we intend to have pitches and play every Sunday after that.

A bunch of Europeans and Asians so far. People from the UK, Germany, Holland, Italy, USA, Malaysia, Hong Kong... maybe some other countries too!

We could use some people from down under though.

We can use as many people as can come on Sunday June 29th, it's 7-aside but the weather's getting lethal some 3-4 subs wouldn't be unwelcome.

If we start getting over 20 people a week then we can hopefully switch to an 11-aside pitch, that'd easily cope with 22-28 people, though so far we've usually had around a dozen people turn up each week (hopefully a lot more in a couple of weeks though).

July 6th Football at Happy Valley grass pitch, 1:30pm till 3pm.

July 13th Football at Tung Chung grass pitch, 11:30am till 1pm.

July 20th Football at Tung Chung grass pitch, 1pm till 2:30pm.

July 27th Football at Tung Chung grass pitch, 3pm till 6pm, (3 hour stupidly long double-booking mishap extravaganza! We might take an hour-long halftime for drinks or something.)
