Hi, we arrived in HK a week ago from the UK and are staying at Parkview. I have a six and a half month old baby and am a stay at home mum (no helper). What do the other mummies here do with their time, as I've hardly seen anyone around.

you could join the different organizations around town like the american women's association (they have members from different parts of the world). there are also playgroups that you could join - see the geobaby forum to get in touch with moms

It is still summer many do travel overseas or elsewhere however, sit tight as starting next week people will be returning from holidays - getting settled into a routine of school and other things. When September comes around HK is hopping with loads of activities. In the meantime checkout the sister site of GEOEXPAT - GEOBABY Hong Kong Pregnancy and Baby Resources, Forums and Events - GeoBaby.Com Also, there is the YWCA for English speakers. English Speaking Members Department - Hong Kong YWCA Also, if you have relocated due to work reasons the company maybe able to assist with a membership at one of the many social clubs that you could use.
