Hey all, I don't arrive in HK until early January but I don't want to waste a second of my time there without something to do. I'm a Canadian who'll be studying at City University of HK from January to May and am looking forward to meeting tons of people. Although I have much love for the Chinese, it might help buoy the culture shock if I knew some fellow Gwailos! Canadian, U.S. British and Aussies!! Anyone!!! If you like good times, get in touch PLEEEASE.

I wanna see all the beaches, every temple, every inch of the New Territories. Also wanna run the Hong Kong marathon in February if anyone likes to run. Anybody at CityU get in touch for sure. I've never left Canada or the U.S. before although I've seen almost all of them. Hong Kong just seems like the perfect place to begin my international life. See you all in January!

Sure. I've booked the place already and should get there by 6pm.

We will be meeting at 5pm Sunday 9th October (2005) at Choi Hung MTR (Hang Seng counter). For those who don't know how to get there, just take the MTR underground/tube/whatever you want to call it and follow the green Kwun Tong line. It's near the top right hand side of the map.
I am not sure how long it will take to get to Sai Kung but we should gather at the MTR and set off at 5:20 at the latest.

We will exit the MTR station and walk to the market to catch the 1A bus to the Sai Kung Bus Terminus and then walk 15 mins to the BBQ place.

It will cost no more than HK$120 for the entry ticket and it's eat as much as you can take in style BBQ. Drinks are extras (of course).
