Maybe to the folks in Spain!! Ha Ha. I'd like to join the Northerner revolt. I hated it when people in Scotland called me a Southerner! It's not a location, it's a way of life. Like fishfinger butties and whipets. Aye, it's grim up north.

There's a chippy in Central, imaginatively called 'the chippy'. Not the best chips in the world, but when your desperate for a scallop....

It's on Pottinger street and not too easy to spot but the aroma will lead you there.

We lived for three months in a paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six in the morning, clean the paper bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down at the mill, fourteen hours a day, week in, week out, for sixpence a week, and when we got home, our dad would thrash us to sleep with his belt.....
