I am looking for second hand furniture. I have already tried the classified at geoexpats and the web site asiaxpat. Could someone let me know where else to look? I am also interested in rugs (if i can get them cheap)

Village rubbish tips are also a good place to look at this time of year. Other people's rubbish can be very high quality. You just pay for the van hire if you want to take it away

rugs-- haven't seen many folks selling their rugs. the cheapest new rugs in town are ikea's. and the quality ain't bad for the price. i have one in the playroom, it's handsome and cheap enough to not worry about.
