The title say it all. Given the choice, which would you choose to fly from HK to India? Safety records?

I would never fly air India.

Jet Airways should be as good if not better than Cathay in terms of service. There have been no safety issues either way.

Air India should not even feature in the choices

Jet without a doubt.

Service is fantastic, the planes are new.

Only consider Air India if its your very last option.

Flew Air India from HK to India last year and it was absolutely awful. Used Jet Airways for an internal flight and it was a completely different story - excellent flight/service etc.

In order of preference:
1. Jet Airways (flat beds in business class between HKG and India)
2. Cathay (regional flight => no flat beds...)
3. hitchhike
4. walk & swim
...
