Rollerblading areas

anybody know of a good, flat and smooth roller blading area. mainly for freestyle slalom skating.

I'm still a beginner at it but the area near my house is real out of shape and i cannot get any training from it.

there is a big concrete slab at the end of taipo waterfront park. its pretty far away though, even from taipo; all the way past the industrial estate.

It depends where you live! On HK island, there is a nice stretch that goes between Repulse Bay Beach and Deepwater Bay Beach... perfect for roller blades or kids on bicycles....

There is a roller skating park next to Queen Elisabeth Stadium/post office.

Victoria Park had a roller skating area when I was young, not sure if it';s still there.

for general skating there's a shop in tin hau, about 5 mins from the mtr exit, can't rember exactly where, but its not hard to find. its a short walk down electric drive and one turn to the right.

there is also an aggressive skate shop in the cell phone plaza in mk.

I went to a inline skate shop in Kwun Tong.

And i would have to say the people there are really friendly and helpful.

They have rollerblading meetings(In Kwun Tong) every Friday and Sunday at 7 to 9pm, just for people to get together and rollerblade

They even helped me to fix my wheels for me and suggested lots of ways to make my rollerblades the best possible condition.

Hey Paul.. what's the location of the inline skate shop in Kwng Tong.. I forgot to bring wrist guards over with me

There's a good slalom area next to the Mei Foo skatepark. It looks like it's meant to be a practise rink but looks ok for slalom.

Here's a pic:
