| | | Don't worry BenderLives, it's real easy, just be yourself and whatever you do, don't censure yourself. Be assertive! Say what you think! I just got a new one that says "You just don't listen" on the "Expat deals" thread! | |

I figure these come from people don't want a stand-up 'fight'. There is nothing wrong with having contrary views but why hide behind the red rating? What are these people afraid of?
KIA, can you make the ratings non-anonymous?
P.S. Thank you to those who made positive comments. Wish I could thank you personally but I don't know who you are. | HERE HERE! SECONDED

| | | KIA,
Please could we have an option in our profile for whether we wish ratings we give to be anonymous or signed?
(This needs to be managed by the system obviously because otherwise people could "sign" ratings as if they were someone else.)

| | | thanks for all the negative ratings everyone.
i really disagree with the rating system (no offense). While it is great in idea / principle, it just doesnt work that well. like all the complaints people have mentioned, not including the ability to make several of accounts to boost up your personal rating by rating your own posts....
people online need to learn someday, that this is an "online" atmosphere. Just like in the real world, you can not trust anything you read or see, without some background.
just seeing someone with 100 green blobs does not make me think.."oh, he must be telling the truth" or "she must be smart". If you need to trust a persons post, then you need to make a decision for yourself:
A - trust blindly on things that are small
B - do your own background research for that person or that topic to make a wiser choice in trust.
red dots, green dots....cant we all just be equal? cant we all just get a long? :P

Would over complicate the experience and focus people on aspects that, in my opinion are trivial to the overall community.
