basically, i need a break from hk (after only 4 weeks here).

i have narrowed it down to 3 places.

has anyone done all three of the above destinations?

which do you reckon is most interesting and/or has the most to offer for a 5 to 7 day trip?

I like water activites, sun and beach, I vote or Bali or Cebu. Bali has more cultural things to do, such as visiting the temples.

agree. and then it may come down to how much time you have. takes longer to get to bali. but i love it and think that for anyone posted in asia it's a must at some point.

opted for cebu in the end because the ticket schedule suited me and it would have taken over 8 hrs to reach bali using the cheap air garuda with a change. since i'm only there for a week also. i might try to pop over to a neighbouring island too. i heard the chocolate hills are a spectacular site.

i'd love to visit bali though one day. heard so many good things about it.
