We are relocating to Shanghai soon, can anyone recmmend a good moving company tha doesn't cost the earth?
Also do we have to pay tax on the China end?

My friend used Santa Fe and was very happy with them, it is on the expensive side, but he says it worths very penny.

You mean to pay tax for what ? Sending your house-hold to Shanghai ? Surely not - but maybe you need to make very clear lists what is in each box by number + pieces. The more precious things (if handy) anyhow I would highly recommend you put in your luggage - even you need to pay a few thousand HKD overweight - be aware what is important and expensive you better hand-carry
