Can anyone tell me where to find appliances?
Particularly a 4-burner gas stove top thingy (still can't get over the fact that ovens are so unusual!) and a good dehumidifier.
I looked at Wing On but they only have electric stove tops with 2 rings and no dehumidifiers (??).
Any idea how much a 4 burner gas stove top and a dehumidifier might cost?

Also, any ideas where I can get decent quality furniture that is less expensive than IKEA? Is IKEA the best option for relatively inexpensive stuff that won't fall aprt on you almost immediately?
Most importantly I need full length cupboards.

Finally, is it possible to find these items second hand? If so where?

Second hand .. try looking in the Sunday newspaper a fair number of expat classifieds.

Also, look for Kingsway in Aberdeen
