Hi All

Where can you buy silk or high-quality fabric for dress-making in HK? I have checked out Sham Shui Po but it seems the fabrics there are mainly polyesters and don't feel soft/flowy for using for a dress.

I am hoping to make the following dress using a silky fabric with a nice pattern to avoid having to get beads sown on: Evening Gown O472 - Evening dresses including evening gowns, wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses

the most economical choice is to use 100% polyester satin fabric.

Depending on your budget, 100% silk is definitely the best choice...
