Does anyone know of any bars with a decent outside sitting area? I realise a garden might be a bit too much too ask.

Is the China Bear @ Mui Wo the one at the end of the bay up some steps (walking away from the pier) run by the guys from the UK? I ask because I was there last weekend and absolutely loved it, but can't remember the name!

I don't think so - The China Bear is the one on the waterfront to the left as you get off the ferry from Central, just round the corner from McDonald's.

But I wasn't aware of any other pubs in Mui Wo, so if there is another one I'd like to hear more.

ah yes i know the one...i think the one im refering to may be called China Beach Restaurant having had a read around...it's not a pub, but is a cracking casual restaurant with outside terrace, erdinger on tap as well which is always a plus point in my book! I'd recommend giving it a go, ideal spot for a long weekend lunch/few beers on a nice day.
