Hi all,

Im am currently trying to decide on a district where my wife and I can live. We will be working at a school around Fotan, Right by the KCR station. We don’t really want to buy a car and only have a short list of expectations
1. A 2 bedroom apartment
2. Fully or at least partly furnished
3. Gym and/or swimming pool
4. Good transport close by
5. Oh yeah.. All for approx 10K

We are trying to decide between Shatin, Tai po, Kowloon tong or a place called the Horizon suite hotel in Ma on what do you recommend? Is what im asking reasonable or even possible?

Are you living in HK now already? How long are you staying?

10K is a lot, I think. As you can see what they are charging
for the hotel you mentioned.

My suggestion is to come and stay in the hotel and look up for
yourselves what you want when you are here.

I Cant answer that at the moment. We are not in HK yet. Arrive ths Friday. We still have a work visa outstanding so hoping that all goes through in the next few weeks.
