Hi - May have found a place in this school which sounds lovely - How far is it from Central as my husband will be working in Finance which I think is all based there. Also is there public transport to and from this area ??

Hong Lok Yuen is in the New Territories. I guess it takes about an hour to get into Central.

I live in Hong Lok Yuen and 2 of my children go there.

In a car it takes 40mins to town - bit longer at peak times

door to door to central by train is an hour

there is the local "magic bus" from just outside the village to Wanchai in the morning and again in the evening - dirt cheap and a popular choice for hly residents

many of the commuters car share too so there's a few options

nice friendly community - more than happy to recommend it to anyone
