Does anybody know how to cancel my XBOX live membership? The only way I could figure out through their website is by calling their US number. Anybody tried doing that?

Log onto your xbox360 account, you should be able to cancel it there

Sorry i didn't made it clear, but I meant through logging on your Xbox360 console and TV. I'm pretty sure you can do it there.

yeh log thru ur xbox live on the console and i think you go to Payment methods or something like that.
You can delete the CC details there

to cancel an xbox membership paid for by a credit card, you NEED to call in, you can call the hk xbox hotline if u are in hk. i would look it up for u, but the website is ridiculously slow from where i'm at ... Xbox.com | ?? Xbox.com

alternatively, and esp. if u hate talking to people as much as i do, you can buy a 1-month prepaid gold membership card and input that as your method of payment. your gold membership will expire automatically after that month.

have fun. at least i think the waitline for the xbox hotline is quite decent.

Well I changed my CC details via the console and presumed that there may be an option to remove the payment method there too.
I did state that I personally 'thought' it may of been a way to do it via the console.
