Irish Graduate seeks work Visa

Hi,
I was wondering, I'm an Irish philosophy graduate who wants to move to HK in March. I want to work in HK, but I'm unsure as how to organise the visa? I'm in the middle of doing a TEFL course, but ultimately I want to work in publishing. Would it be possible to work for a short time teaching English in order to get a work visa and then move on to another job, or are work visa's designed for a particular job?
Thanks...

Work visas are associated with a specific job. With no specific experience you are likely to be stuck with teaching English.

And if you do so please would you revise the usage of apostrophes? Thanks.

Teach first

I suggest you first get a teaching job which allows you to secure your visa application. It's not difficult for a native english speaker to get a teaching post. But many schools do concern your accent as people here generally find it hard to understand non-standard english accents.

you can go to these websites for job hunting. good luck!
