I should really know this by now but...

Anyone know what beaches in Hong Kong have shops that rent out beach chairs and big sun umbrellas? I saw some to buy at ikea for around 140, not that heavy either, but I'd still rather have a chair to sit on.

and ice. I'll need ice too, but i don't imagine that being a problem.

The second you step off the bus or out of the taxi at Shek O you will be swarmed by ladies offering you chairs and umbrellas. I have never paid more than $35 for both but it would probably me more on a busier day.

big wave bay has at least 7 shops renting out both and more next to the beach. v. cheap - $20 each for day i think.
