I am moving to HK in the next couple months & I have an IPhone. Will it work in HK? Is there a way to "unlock" it with crashing it?

If you haven't already unlocked it out of the AT&T network, you will need to do so to use with a local SIM. If you don't know how to do that, there are stores that can do it for you in Mong Kok. Note that you lose whatever warranty you have on the iPhone if you go this route.

you will not lose any warranty, as you are able to refresh the iphone so that is "virginized" as if you never hacked it. all of this is very simple. easiest way is to ipwn it, or ziphone it. both work flawlessly on any iphone, purchased anywhere at any time.

OP doesn't sound capable of doing his own unlock Take it to Mong Kok. Cost will be about $400.

If anyone wants to buy an iphone I will be selling mine the end of June while I am in hong kong send me an email @ ctrain@gmail.com. It will have only gotten one month of use and is jailbroken/hacked.
