dog food suitable for shih tzu puppy

My shih tzu is about 5 months old now and hes about to finish the dog food (dry food) that the pet shop told us to buy when we got him. I want to buy something for him thats good for him. Any recommendations in what brand is good?

I feed my dog organic dried dog food in the morning and a piece of chicken fillet in the night. But honestly, it's really up to you. I've fed my dog Solid Gold, Science Diet (Natural), Avo Derm and a whole range of others. I can't remember what's the exact name now. I'll post the name later when I get home.

Oh when you switch dog food, it's best to mix in with the current food slowly or your dog may not want to eat. Or sometimes, your dog may have soft stools.

You can mix the flavours - less boring. We have always fed our shitzuh/pekingnese either dried pellets or canned good brand puppy food (at that age). She has always been very healthy with a brilliant white coat of fur.

We feed Happy with Natural Planet Organics. We feed her one type of dried food only. But basicially, it's up to you and your dog how many types you want to mix up.
