My family will move to HK in August. Our two kids will go to school in Mid-levels and my wife will work in Central, so we believe that living somewhere in Mid-levels will be most convenient. But we need a building that allows dogs, and our maximum rental must be under 60,000 HKD (we have no rental allowance). Our initial research shows that most newer buildings do not allow dogs, plus are too expensive (for a 3 bedroom apt.), so it seems that we'll need to choose an older building.

Any suggestions?

And if not Mid-levels, which nearby area would you suggest?
