Hello,

Is anyone aware of pet friendly accommodation in either Hong Kong or Shanghai?

We haven't decided yet as to whether or not we will move with our dogs as it all depends if 1) we can get suitable accomodation and 2) they still have a decent quality of life over there.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Its going to be dependant on many things which you need to tell us more about though.

1. Where you are likely to be working
2. The size of the dog in question

On Kowloon and Island side you won't find that many pet friendly apartments etc especially if its one managed by the big developers such as Cheung Kong etc, They have strict rules against it even if you own the property outright.

So you're better off getting a village house in the NT etc where the dog will have a better quality of life than cooped up in a small flat.
